Baby Milestone Photography in Ventura County
Babies change so fast in their first year. One moment they’re a sleepy newborn, and the next they’re sitting up, crawling, and smashing cake into their hair. Milestone sessions capture these fleeting stages so you never forget how tiny they were—or how big their personalities have become.
I photograph milestones from the sitter stage (around 6 months) through the first birthday, including cake smash sessions with all the messy, joyful chaos. Whether you want a simple studio session or an outdoor adventure, we’ll create images that celebrate your growing baby.
What to Expect at Your Milestone Session
Milestone sessions are relaxed and playful. Unlike newborn sessions, we’re not trying to keep your baby asleep—we want giggles, expressions, and movement. I’ll have toys, bubbles, and tricks to capture genuine smiles and curious looks.
For studio sessions, I provide simple props and backdrops. For outdoor sessions, we’ll find a beautiful location in Ventura County with soft natural light.
What to bring:
1-2 outfits for baby (I can help you choose)
A favorite toy or snack for between setups
Patience—babies do what they want, and that’s part of the fun
