Every family has a story. My job is to capture yours—not with stiff poses and forced smiles, but with real moments, genuine expressions, and the little in-between interactions that show who you really are together.
What to Expect at Your Session
Family sessions are relaxed, fun, and designed around your crew—whether that’s just the three of you or a big extended family reunion. Sessions typically last about an hour, giving us plenty of time to capture both posed portraits and candid moments without feeling rushed.
I’ll guide you through poses and prompts, but I also leave room for spontaneity. Some of my favorite images come from the unscripted moments—a whispered joke between siblings, a toddler breaking free to run, or a quiet look between parents.

Beautiful Locations for Your Session
One of the best things about living here is the variety of stunning backdrops—from the trails and gardens of Thousand Oaks to the beaches near Point Mugu and Oxnard. I also love shooting in Camarillo’s Arroyo Verde Park, the lake areas around Westlake Village, and quiet neighborhood spots that feel personal to your family.
If you have a meaningful location in mind—your home, a favorite hiking trail, or that spot where you got engaged—I’m happy to shoot there too.
