I think newborns are my absolute favorite type of session. I love to keep them classic, simple, and a little vintage, but I’m not afraid to try something creative as long as it’s safe! So many options. I will say, though, that they require quite a bit of planning and patience. I allow up to 3 hours for these sessions. I know everyone wants at least one perfect sleepy shot and sometimes you just gotta wait.

Every baby is different, so being flexible is a must. I never force a position on them, my favorite shots of them are just in a natural position on a simple blanket. I just want to catch all their beautiful tiny features, those baby rolls, tiny eyelashes, and nails.

Before your session, we will talk about desired colors or themes and come up with a game plan together!

::: No matter who you choose to book your newborn session with, make sure you go to someone that knows what they are doing and yes, many times, this means paying a little more. Safety first, always, don’t ever let a photographer do something that makes you feel uncomfortable with your precious baby. Speak up!:::
